| Benefits Information A merger represents a time of change, and one of the most often asked questions is: How will my benefits be affected? Each company has a remarkable benefits program, and we intend to continue this tradition following the merger. With close to 3,000 employees, we now have more leverage when negotiating with carriers for group employee benefit plans. This means we are able to provide excellent benefits coverage, utilizing nationally known health care and other providers, while keeping cost increases to a minimum. We are excited to announce that beginning January 1, 2001, we have combined our benefit plans for medical/prescription, dental, vision, life, disability, and the flexible spending accounts. (The benefit plans for our Puerto Rico employees will remain the same as CY2000). A joint HR team, consisting of TeleCorp and Tritel employees, developed a comprehensive communications plan including printed materials, employee benefits briefings, along with the ease of web-based enrollment. You will be receiving more detailed information regarding each of the plans in the coming days.
